These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Data File Tool at https://datafiletool.com. By accessing or using our website and tools, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Service Description

Data File Tool provides free, browser-based data file utilities and educational guides. All file processing occurs locally on your device — files are not uploaded to our servers. Our toolkit includes:

  • CSV tools — validation, Health Score, cleaning, comparison, conversion, splitting, merging, deduplication, and related utilities
  • JSON tools — validation, formatting, minification, comparison, diff, conversion, and string escape/unescape
  • Excel tools — comparison, deduplication, splitting, column extraction, and Excel-to-CSV conversion
  • Import validation — platform-specific CSV validators for Shopify, HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp, and Airtable
  • Developer tools — SQL formatters, query analyzers, and text utilities
  • Guides and landing pages — how-to articles, troubleshooting content, and use-case pages that link to the live tools above

Health Scores, validation results, and platform import checks are provided for informational purposes. They are not a guarantee of import success or data correctness for any specific system.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Use the site to process data you do not have the right to access or analyze
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the website or its infrastructure
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute site content without permission
  • Use automated tools to access the site in a way that impairs service for others

No Warranty

Data File Tool is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that tools will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Analysis results, Health Scores, platform validation output, and converted files should be independently verified before use in production, compliance, or business-critical workflows.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Data File Tool and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the services — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Intellectual Property
